Survive Then Thrive
With Community Development Director, Judy Pangman, I was tasked to create a committee that would address the issues facing the City as it sought to navigate the perils of the pandemic and its impact on our local economy; and to plan for a post-pandemic reality in which we might come out stronger.
From a core of 6 people, we devised a sub-committee structure that eventually included more than 6-dozen members of the business leadership, retailers, restaurateurs, and the community.

Support Oneonta
A benefit to my other life as owner of Sweet Home Productions is that I was able to donate the construction of a website that educates about COVID relief, but also serves as a portal through which businesses can be supported through the purchase of gift cards as well as on-line shopping.

Grant funding was the most obvious boon to small downtown businesses. But, we also got creative in deployment of other (less bureaucratic) strategies,
